Anglers:
Fish Camp is all about fishing. Topics will include tackle assembly and use, knot tying, casting, and angling techniques. While most of the day will be spent fishing, campers will learn valuable information about fish identification, fish feeding preferences, tackle selection, fish handling, and fish cleaning. Boating safety, oaring, trolling motor operation and boat fishing techniques will be covered. Campers are provided with all gear necessary for fishing. Each participant will receive a rod and reel, and each camper will be given a tackle box full of tackle. Please do not bring additional fishing equipment from home. At the close of Camp, campers take their fishing equipment home to use for future fishing. Our goal is to have participants leave camp equipped to be successful anglers.

Bullseye:
This is for campers who do not already have a Hunter Safety Certification from Florida. Campers will be given opportunities to earn their hunter safety certification and learn about Florida’s hunting heritage. Teaching topics will be safety and proper firearm handling, wildlife identification, conservation and management, survival, wilderness first aid, tree stand safety, stewardship, laws and ethics.

Adventures:
Adventures Camp focuses on four different activities: boating, fishing, wildlife discovery and archery. Campers will have the opportunity to experience hiking in the wildlife management area, kayaking and fishing Joe Budd Pond, and learning the sport of archery. This camp is for campers that love the outdoors and want to learn more about how to conserve the environment. Campers will leave with a love for the outdoors and skills that will last a lifetime.
