Verizon Innovative Learning STEM Achievers Program at Tallahassee Community College
This is an engaging program developed to enrich learning through design thinking, 3D printing, augmented reality, and social entrepreneurship. This program creates a more diverse pipeline for future careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) fields; no prior knowledge or experience is required.
Program Details:
-Open to students in Leon, Gadsden, and Wakulla counties.
-We accept 175 students. After that, students are put on a waitlist.
-This must be your 1st time being enrolled in this summer camp. We have already filled the spots for 17 returning campers.
-Free for students and their families.
-Lunch will be provided each day during program.
-Available to students who otherwise do not have access to these types of programs.
-Program is inclusive and welcomes all genders and non-binary youth.
-Transportation will be provided in varying locations (Quincy, Midway, Tallahassee)
